Do You Wanna Make The Best Music Beats Possible?
Are you a musician or a DJ trying to find the best way to make the absulute best music beats possible? I know that trying to come up with fresh beats can be challenging for a couple of reasons. Number one, you want to stay original and number two, it can be rather difficult using that expensive and complicated music hardware and software.
Let me show you what I have been doing to make some of the best music beats I have EVER come up with!
What I have found to work best for me is keeping it simple. I do not need any crazy expensive equipment. All I need is a way to make multiple tracks with just the few clicks of my mouse. After all, we live in the internet age. Why should things be so darn complicated?
So anyhow, I login into my music creation site and start with track one. I can click where I want the bass beat to be. I play it back to hear what it sounds like. If I like it, I move onto the next track. I will start layering my track with whatever sounds I want. Maybe some tom tom’s or even a piano chord. I’ll keep at it until I have the track layered to how I like it.
That is it!

Once I am finished, I save my project and then export it to an MP3 format and I am all done!
Say I am done with what I think is the best possible music beat. I add it to my song and I do not like it? Then I can go back to my saved project and change whatever I do not like about it. I go back, add it and I am done!
See, making the best music beats possible should not be a chore. It should be fun and exciting. When you spend most of your time trying to figure out how to use the equipment, that fun is lost!
That is why for me, I like to keep it simple. I get professional results in a quarter of the time. That leaves me more time to work on my tunes and less time messing with the equipment!

As part of my BA we have to create a “pop promo/music video”. For this I’ve picked Weird Al’s awesome “Hardware Store” After many long nights working on storyboards and anamatics (see my other videos) we finally had a final piece put together. Which I’m very happy to say got a rather good mark of 80. Update: I should probably point out that 80 is a VERY good mark in UK Universities, whilst it is out of 100, 70 is a 1st which is the best you can get (3rd, 2:2, 2:1, 1) so I got the best, then some. There are no swears in this song, and yes you do hear “automatic circumciser” which isn’t what you think it is. Google for the full lyrics. You may have seen some of the many “Google Image” based videos for this song. This is a live action “real” version, the only one I know of in existence too. It was created entirely from scratch, filmed, edited and post production by myself, Dave Hartly & Christian Allan. Enjoy what we’ve created, I hope you like it.
